click hereMany years ago a poor farmer lost his farm because of debt. He managed to live by working for other farmers, and during that time also miraculously saved enough money to buy another little piece of ground. It was a piece of ground that had not been farmed, and it was full of weeds. But he was confident man, a good farmer, and he felt that he could raise crops on any kind of land. When he tried to plow, however, he found out why it had never been farmed—-it was filled with rocks. Believing he had made serious mistake, he was filled with despair. (holy bible)

One day while walking in his new field with a friend, he stooped down and picked up a few of the many stones and handed them to his friend, saying, “see, no one can raise crops on this land. It is worthless!” The other man looked at the stones very intently and then said, “Do you know what this stone is that you have just given me? It is a precious gem in unpolished form. You did not recognize it. This land you consider worthless may be worth far more than you think!”

Holy Bible

When the farmer learned to identify precious stones and gems, he found that the stony field he had purchased was filled with hidden treasure—-the field was covered with expensive rare stones and jewels. All he had to do was learn how to recognize them, polish them, and sell them. And that he did quickly. Soon the poor farmer became a wealthy man.

The Bible you have in your hand may appear at first to be a “stony field.” It is a challenging book, but it is filled with rich spiritual treasure. These spiritual treasure are truths that can bring peace, joy, power, and new purpose to your life now. But far more important, these spiritual treasure are the foundation on which God can create a new life in you that will never die. This eternal life, as the bible calls it, is of God. (holy bible)

“Yet to all who received him (Jesus), to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God—-children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God” (John 1:12-13). As you study the bible and learn how to discover its spiritual treasure, you will realize the beautiful meaning of this statement. This spiritual treasure is stated in other words in the Bible.”But these are written (the Bible) that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name” (John 20:31).

Just what kinds of treasure can we find in the Bible? Examine this brief list of the major treasure:

1. Do you feel that God does not love you? (holy bible)

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16)

2. Do you feel that everything is turning out bad?

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28). (holy bible)

3. Do you feel that you can never be forgiven of your sins?

“For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has he (God) removed our transgressions (sins) from us” (Psalm 103:11-12).”For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has he (God) removed our transgressions (sins) from us” (Psalm 103:11-12).

4. Do you feel defenseless against the evil in life?

“I will say of the Lord, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust’ ” (Psalm 91:2). (holy bible)

5. Are you poor? (holy bible)

“The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not be in want” (Psalm 23:1).

6. Are you afraid to die?

“Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me (Jesus). In my Father’s house (heaven—-life after death for Christian) are many rooms; if it were not so I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you” (John 14:1-2).

7. Do you worry? (holy bible)

“Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear……Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?”

The Bible is actually a library of 66 books, written by 40 authors, over a period of 1600 years! These books are divided into two parts: the Old Testament and the New Testament.
